Remember And Reflect

Jesus told us over 2000 years ago to love our enemies, to do good, to bless, to pray and to forgive.

Nearly 60 years ago a black man who practiced non-violence died a violent death as his Savior had before him.

Both the Son of GOD and the servant of the Savior yielded their lives to hate and bigotry but in death their lives lit up the world. If we will but remember their example, we can be rescued and restored from the darkness of ignorance and violence.

There is a time to write and a time to remember but for today… let us take a moment to reflect on the wisdom of those who have gone before us.

Let us choose character over color, love over hate and tranquility over aggression.
